When you navigate to a folder you will see the folder contents. This normally shows the sub-folders (if present) and then the documents in that folder.
All the documents will have names, date last modified (and by whom) plus the number of comments and approvals made.
The sub folders just show the name of the folder (and a folder icon for an unrestricted folder or a key for a restricted folder).
