How do I approve/read a policy assigned to me?

If you have been assigned to an Approval Team or a Reading Team for a new Policy you will be notified by email which will be shown as below,

The email will confirm the person who has assigned the policy to you, the name of the policy, the deadline of when you need to either approve or read the policy by and will advise this has been put into your Task List, and for ease a link directly to your own task list is included.

From this email you can either click the link which will take you directly to your task list to action or you can access your task list at later date by logging into your Compliance Management account. 

When logged into your account you can access your Task List by either selecting the To Do option. Your ‘to do’ page is located at the top of every page of our platform next to your Profile initials. Your My Task List is located halfway down your homepage as shown below. 



 Approval Team
Once you have selected the policy you wish to work on, you will be shown a view of the policy itself. You have the option to Approve or Decline and include comments for the policy creator to view.


Once you have either declined or approved the policy this will be updated straight away within the Policy Manager report.

When you have clicked Submit this will take you back to your My Task List and the request has now moved from Upcoming to Done as shown below 



Reading Team
To read a policy if assigned to a Reading Team to open this policy from your task list.

The below screen will now open, showing the details of the policy for your read and once read you need to confirm you have done so you need to tick the request on this page (highlighted below)



Once you have confirmed you have read the policy the Submit button will now be available and you can now confirm you have read this document.

When you have clicked Submit this will take you back to your My Task List and the request has now moved from Upcoming to Done as shown below
