Managers: How to check & approve (self-led or admin-led) objectives for those you line manage

In this guide we will cover:

Please note that objectives can be set in 3 ways:

  1. Self-led - set by the individual member of staff for themselves
  2. Admin-led - often flood filled / bulk populated objectives, set by those with admin rights
  3. Manager-led - set by a line manager for those that they line manage

ℹ️ As a line manager you are only able to approve objectives set by an individual (self-led objectives) or by an admin (admin-led objectives). You are unable to approve the objectives you have set within a line manager capacity, as manager-led objectives are approved by the individual staff member themselves.
