How to Request and Assign Bespoke Standards in BlueSky

This article explains how to request a bespoke Support Framework (bespoke standard) and how to add, assign and run a bespoke standards review within the People Development (BlueSky) system.

Requesting a bespoke standard (what to send)

  • Provide the Job Title you want the bespoke standard created for.
  • Provide a list of the standards/statements you want included for that role.
  • Send these details to the support/professional services team so they can create the bespoke standard for your organisation.

Preparing your organisation

  • Bespoke standards must be added to your organisation in the system before they can be assigned or used.
  • If a bespoke standard does not appear when assigning, it must first be added by an administrator.

How an administrator adds and assigns a bespoke standards review

  1. Ensure the bespoke standard is present in your organisation (either previously added or created by the support/professional services team).
  2. Go to the Admin area of the platform.
  3. Select Reviews (or Standards, depending on your terminology).
  4. Click Bulk Assign Standards.
  5. From the dropdown, choose the relevant bespoke standard (only bespoke standards already added to your organisation will appear).
  6. Select the individuals or groups to whom you want to assign the standard.
  7. Click Assign Standards to complete the assignment.

How staff complete a bespoke self-review

  • Once a bespoke standard is assigned, staff can perform a self-review by navigating to the Standards or Reviews area.
  • Staff should click into the relevant bespoke standard and review the provided statements.

Support and creation assistance

  • The support/professional services team can create bespoke standards for you if you send the Job Title and the list of standards to meet.
  • Provide full details of what you want set up so the team can pass it to professional services for creation.
