Whilst it is useful to share personal information such as email address, telephone number etc with Governors at the same school/college (in a single school/college GM) this is not the case where Governance Manager is being used by a Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
In the case of Governance Manager set up in a MAT the system operates 'data redaction' such that personal data is 'hidden' based on certain rules. The rules are based on membership of the Trust and Local Boards.
Note: The data that is 'hidden' includes email address, telephone number and home address. The 'Additional Information' box remains visible to all users of Governance Manager.
1. All users who are in the same board can see the email address etc of other users in that board. If users are not on the same board in Governance Manager then the data is redacted. This will be the case in all parts of GM (profiles, member lists, board lists etc).
2. The GM Manager can see the information (this is necessary as they set up the user profile).
