How to remove or delete users from your school's account
There are 3 ways you can remove a user. Which option you use depends on which modules you have a subscription for and whether or not the user is being permanently deleted.
1. I want to remove a user from all memberships they have access to.
- Click on ‘Admin’ which is located in the top navigation to the left of your profile icon.
- Under the ‘Manage Users’ in the left hand menu, click on the 'Manage Users' option.
- Click on ‘Manage Users’
- Here you’ll be able to see your full list of users.
- You can use the search bar to search for a particular user.
- Once you have located the user you need to remove, click on the three vertical dots to the right of their details.
- Select the option to delete a user and click yes to confirm this action.
To delete multiple users:
- Tick the box to the right of each users name.
- Click on the Bulk Actions button and select 'Bulk Delete'.
- You'll be asked to confirm this action.
ℹ️ Clicking on confirm will remove the user. They will no longer be visible on the platform and they will not appear in any reports run.
2. I want to remove a user only from People Development so they can still access CPD in The National College.

Click on 'People Development' in the left hand navigation.
- Click on 'Admin' in the top navigation.
- Select 'Users & Groups' from the left hand navigation.
- You'll see a list of your users who have access to People Development.
- Find the user you wish to delete and click on their name.
- Click on the 'Remove from Organisation' button.
- Click on 'Yes' to confirm the action.
- Repeat these steps to delete all users required.
ℹ️ The user(s) is removed from People Development. Their data is archived but will not appear in any reports run.
3. I want to deactivate a user so they are unable to log in but their details and data is still linked to the school.
- Click on ‘Admin’ which is located in the top navigation to the left of your profile icon.
- Under the ‘Manage Users’ in the left hand menu, click on the 'Manage Users' option.
- Click on ‘Manage Users’
- Here you’ll be able to see your full list of users.
- You can use the search bar to search for a particular user.
- Once you have located the user you need to remove, click on the three vertical dots to the right of their details.
- Click on 'Deactivate'.
- Once you have confirmed the action the user will appear greyed out in the user list.
- To reactive the user simply click on the 3 dots and select 'Reactivate'. The user's access will be reinstated with immediate effect.
ℹ️ Once deactivated, all tasks within their Task List will be deleted. The user will not be able to log in but will still be linked and visible within the platform and their data will not be archived.
