How do I reset a password for a staff member?
To reset a password for a user:
- Log in to your School Manager account.
- Click on ‘Admin’ shown on the landing page at the top to the left of your profile icon.
- To the left of this page click on ‘User report’ to the left of your screen.
- Locate the user in need of a password reset, you can do this by using the search bar shown.
- Once user has been found, click the three vertical dots at the end of the user detail.
- There are two ways to update a user's password:
- 1. To send the user a link to reset their own password:
- Click on the option 'Send Password Reset'
- Once this has been selected the user will get an email link and from this link, they will now be able to rest their profile password.
- 2. To reset the password for the user:
- Click on the 'View User Profile' option
- Type the new password into the 'Password' field and the 'Confirm password' field
