How do I reset a password for a staff member?

To reset a password for a user:

  • Log in to your School Manager account.
  • Click on ‘Admin’ shown on the landing page at the top to the left of your profile icon.
  • To the left of this page click on ‘User report’ to the left of your screen.
  • Locate the user in need of a password reset, you can do this by using the search bar shown.
  • Once user has been found, click the three vertical dots at the end of the user detail.
  • There are two ways to update a user's password:
    • 1. To send the user a link to reset their own password:
      • Click on the option 'Send Password Reset'
      • Once this has been selected the user will get an email link and from this link, they will now be able to rest their profile password. 
    • 2. To reset the password for the user:
      • Click on the 'View User Profile' option
      • Type the new password into the 'Password' field and the 'Confirm password' field
      • Click on the 'Save changes' button.
