Task List: Types of task

 

There are four Task Types available within your task list. Task Type availability is dependent on the subscription held by your organisation.  

  • Compliance and Content Tasks are both available with a Compliance Management membership.
  • Learning Tasks are available with a Professional Development membership.
  • Custom Tasks are available with all subscriptions.  

Compliance tasks

  • These tasks are set automatically from actions required via Policy Manager. The tasks include Policy to Approve, Policy to Read and Policy to Review.  
  • For organisations who have access to Group Policy Manager, you may also see Group Policy to Assign and Group Policy to Amend. 
  • Progress for Compliance Task will be 0% or 100% with the task showing as ‘Done’ once the required action has been undertaken. 

Content Tasks

  • These are any templates, guidance or policies that you can add to your own Task List or can be assigned by users with Admin permissions.
  • To add a Content Task to you Task List find the template, guidance or policy that you wish to add, hover on the thumbnail and click, ‘Add to Task List’.  

Learning Tasks

  • These are tasks associated with Learning Plans and are available with a professional development membership.  
  • The Learning Plan will appear as a Task within the Task List with overall progress displayed within the Progress column.  
  • Clicking into the task will allow you to see the individual courses within the learning plan and the progress through each.  
  • Clicking on Continue Watching will enable you to quickly access the course.  
  • The Task will only show as done when all components of the learning plan are complete. 

Custom Tasks

  • These are tasks that the user sets themself.  
  • Those with Admin permissions can also set custom tasks for other users.  
  • To set a Custom Task scroll to the top of the page and click on Add New Custom Task.  
  • These tasks may serve as reminder for any action that the user needs to complete and allows the user to have a central list of all required actions in one place.
